Job Description
Job Title: Store In-Charge
Job Summary
The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing all store and warehouse activities related to water treatment projects and operations. The role includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, chemicals, and consumable materials while ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and timely material availability for project execution and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Challans (DCs), and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
Manage inventory of pumps, motors, valves, pipes, fittings, electrical items, instrumentation, membranes, filters, chemicals, and spare parts.
Issue materials as per approved Material Requisition Notes (MRNs).
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems and ensure real-time stock updates.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to prevent shortages.
Coordinate with procurement, project, maintenance, and site teams for timely material availability.
Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of materials and chemicals.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards within the store.
Support internal and external inventory audits.
Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movement.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
3–8 years of experience in stores or warehouse management.
Experience in the Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, EPC, MEP, Industrial, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with ISO standards, warehouse safety practices, and inventory audits.
